Tom Speicher
Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer
Tom Speicher joined Empower IT in 1994. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Empower IT, Inc. and is head of the Executive Committee that oversees the operations of the Empower IT ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). Mr. Speicher was instrumental in setting up Empower IT, Inc as an ESOP in 2004 Mr. Speicher graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in accounting from Towson State University. He received Academic All-American honors in basketball from the NCAA. He has been a CPA for 25 years.

Lis Akhtarzandi
Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Lis Akhtarzandi has 30 years of experience in the CPG arena and has been with EIT since its inception. Ms. Akhtarzandi has worked with more than 200 consumer packaged goods companies and brokers and is an expert in the field of business intelligence and analytics. She has spearheaded many key category management initiatives and has been a speaker at many conventions. Ms. Akhtarzandi received her B.A. from London University.

Rob Whitmore
Vice President, Operations and Technology
Rob Whitmore joined Empower IT in 1995. Mr. Whitmore is currently responsible for the creation and implementation of both internal and external business solutions and applications for EIT, as well as oversight of all security and systems administration functions and production related activities. He is skilled in project management and product development. He majored in business administration at the University of Maryland.

Scott "Scooter" Schneider
Vice President, R&D and Engineering
Scott "Scooter" Schneider joined Empower IT in 1996. He is an accomplished systems architect, analyst, and developer. Mr. Schneider has extensive experience in both conceptual design and physical implementation of automated business solutions for data management and data warehousing as well as vast knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, relational and multi-dimensional databases design, graphical user interface development, the Unified Modeling language, and multi-tier client/server architectures.

Bradley J. Webb
Vice President, Strategic Development
Bradley Webb joined Empower IT in 2011. Mr. Webb is responsible for strategic planning and implementation, business alliances and partnerships, and new product solutions architecture. He is an expert in the areas of business intelligence consulting, outsourcing services, and web applications relating to sales and marketing, risk management, regulatory compliance, and operations. Mr. Webb has an M.B.A. from the College of William & Mary and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.

Mark Stromberg
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Mark Stromberg joined Empower IT in 1999. He has more than 35 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. Prior to joining EIT he was with M&M/Mars for 25 years, where he held several key sales management positions ranging from managing a direct sales force to managing national accounts. Mr. Stromberg earned his B.S. in business from the University of Maryland in College Park.

Deborah Kalas
Vice President, Sales
Deborah Kalas joined Empower IT in 2005. She has more than 25 years of experience in the CPG industry and has worked in sales and marketing for CPG giants such as Unilever and ConAgra Foods. Her past duties included managing broker sales forces on a worldwide level and performing key retailer headquarters calls. She received her B.A. from San Diego University.

Tim Brown
Vice President, Business Solutions
Tim Brown joined Empower IT in 2003. As Vice President of Business Solutions, Mr. Brown is responsible for refining Empower IT's product strategy to develop products and services to meet customers' evolving needs. Prior to joining Empower IT, Mr. Brown was a senior business analyst and project manager with ACNielsen where he led development teams to produce custom category management solutions and new syndicated applications. Mr. Brown graduated magna cum laude from St. Louis University with a B.S. in marketing with an emphasis on consumer behavior.
